The menu provides a drop down to apply filters or access the settings where the user can view their test kit details, change to analog mode, viewer their information, and premium remaining credits on the account
Tapping the red connection circle will pair with a nearby mobile device to kit which allows use to begin testing through the kit.
After completing a test, users will be prompted with a box to save the results as a PDF.
Selecting “Yes” uses a premium credit and generates a shareable PDF test report that can be downloaded, emailed, or shared through any communication method available on the device.

Press and hold the on/off button on the left side of the kit for 2 seconds to power it on.
Open the MachBackflow app, ensure Bluetooth is enabled, tap the red circle in the upper right, then press “Scan for Devices.”
A blue light will illuminate on both the kit and phone when it has successfully connected.
To disconnect, either tap the blue dot in the app and select “Disconnect,” or hold the on/off button for 2 seconds.
Tap “Add Test” in the lower right corner and either search for an existing assembly or select “Add New Assembly.”
Enter the required serial number and any optional details, then tap “Start Assembly Test.”
Follow your standard testing procedure, using the capture button to record pressure values and the status sliders to log check valve, relief valve, air inlet, and test results.
Once complete, confirm and save — the test is automatically stored to the cloud.
If you lose connectivity during testing, the app automatically switches to offline mode and saves all test data locally on your device.
Once a connection is restored, all stored records sync to the cloud.
Failed tests are backed up both locally and in the cloud, ensuring no data is lost regardless of job site conditions.
The 855 digital test kit holds approximately 16 hours of charge.
Whenever a flashing red light is displayed on the device, that indicates that the battery is below 20%.
To check the exact battery level, connect a mobile device through the MachBackflow app to the kit and tap the battery icon to view the remaining battery.
To recharge, remove the dust cover on the left of the device and plug in a USB-C cable; a yellow light confirms it’s charging.
A full recharge takes 4–5 hours.
